well, i have to comment on this one - (and you all who get to see her ALL the
time may think this silly...) because this was the one i collected in person
in nashville, TN in 2001. after 9/11 - i thought she was a little pshycic to
have recorded "narrow bridge" pre 9/11. this was my one and only (to date)
meeting and seeing jane in person. i was so moved by hearing her sing in
person - "you don't need" as my tears pelted her from the first row as she
sang. poor jane... getting all that grief shot at her. i was lifted beyond
anything i've ever imagined when she sang "the kiss" and got a particularly
etheral pic of her while singing that song. i remember the candles lit all
over the small venue and feeling like it was really a church, and this was
communion. i was amused that she apologized for background tracks. who cares?
wow - it was awesome. i got to touch the red guitar and have a pic of me just
milimeters away from actually touching it. the red
guitar has a special place in my heart, i was sad to see her auction it, but
i hope shauna has "played played played for hours". this meeting was probably
my first encounter with going ahead and doing what i love even tho i can't
afford it, don't have time, and it makes no logical sense to do so. i
will always remember it.... the memory is priceless and just fills my soul.
as far as the album - listening to it for the 9 hour drive home was a real
treat, i especially enjoyed the big bass in harmonix. i love jane, i love all
her work. she is a friend of mine. - tracy

This was my favorite of all the JS "Sheeba" releases. It was just SO
well put together that it feels like a regular studio album.
Some really great songs and I love that it opens with the criminally
underrated "My Mother Is Not The White Dove."
Just a great CD - ever song a winner.
