The 2009 Eastgate version of 220 Volt Live

     I just obtained the Eastgate version of 220 Volt Live, and
boy is Ron ever on the money!  220 Volt Live has long been
a fave TD album of mine, but I've always felt that the production 
and sound (on the Miramar CD) was muddy.  Not so on the 
Eastgate version.

     In the Miramar liner notes, Edgar is listed as the sole
producer, whereas both Edgar and Jerome are listed as producers 
on the Eastgate version.  Suprisingly, neither the addition of the 
producer credit nor the sonic upgrade are mentioned at the 
Voices in the Net site, which is why I held off some long before 
taking the plunge and buying a copy to see if it really is better than 
the Miramar version.  It is better!  Bigtime!

     I am soooo glad I bought this CD!  :)

220 volt live, is a classic '90's TD album. Buy the Eastgate version
though. Remastered by Jerome, with a lot more dynamics. The original
Miramar version is as dull as dishwater IMHO??
