Have been meaning to listen to it again for some time. Only caught up with it 5 yrs ago or so. The edit on Side 1 has got to be the most phenomenal one I've ever heard, genius. It's crazy. I used to love Hergest Ridge & Ommadawn dearly.
Somehow, as with many other artists, I lost touch after, and don't think I ever got to hear Incantations. It is great for sure.....
The passage feat. Maddy Prior is awesome too. Back then Steeleye were great too. I guess the series they had all to themselves on the Blatantly Biased Corp. was wiped, and no one ever recorded it. Which is insane and pretty horrific.
Man, the 70's.........take me back home!
I wish 'Return to Ommadawn' was on ytb....the clip I heard, phew, did not like. Did you read his book? Great, too short!
And Herr Baumann wrote one too, very different, not so sure I want to read it though.......
