Despite that host only occurring once, BB could still be confused by multiple clients trying to report using that name. If you have not done so already, I would confirm that all BB processes stop cleanly on the display server before starting again. I would then stop the client on "cousteau" and either wait for all client tests to turn purple or repeat your "bbrm" procedure. After that, wait for a couple of testing cycles to ensure that nothing else is reporting with that name. It might also help to know more about the BB servers that are running. Is the RedHat machine the only server that you have, or are there any additional ones or "failover" servers? Also, what version of RedHat is the display server running? It is probably also advisable to consider upgrading BB to the recent version. 1.9c is fairly old now and, while it may not be causing the problem that you are seeing, the upgrade should be worthwhile for many other reasons.
