Hmm, come to think of it it would probably be a MSG, as I do not use ANS or RPY for the type of messages that are most involved here, though there is one type of message for which a RPY is sent. Is there any implicit assumption that MSGs will be acked with an ANS or RPY? And what is a NUL frame? It almost looks like something is tracking the state of already-sent messages, and when, say, 256 of them are outstanding (or something in that ballpark) this message pops up.
