Others will probably also answer, but I think the answer to your question
is that BEEP per se is designed as a 1-to-1 peer to peer relationship,
rather than 1-to-N peers.  Also the concept of MSG/RPY in a multicast 
environment does not really work.

There was some discussion on the list a while ago about using BEEP in 
a multicast environment, perhaps someone can point back to the previous
discussion so you can read up on the issues that were hit there.

I believe one of the folks in that previous discussion is pursuing
the multicast app he was discussion, so he may have some insight as
to useful directions.
