Hi,

For the first time in a while I've wanted to download a lot at one time,
several DVDs. When I installed my new computer a few months ago I
reinstalled everything from scratch inclusing BNR3. I think that is when I
lost my optimization settings.

I have a computer with Windows XP SP2 and 2GB internal memory. This morning
hardly anything had been downloaded and it seems due to disktrashing because
of memory swapping. Somehow of the 2GB RAM I have only 500MB is being used
total. I think I need to tell BNR3/sqlite somewhere to use A LOT more RAM
but how? I know this has been posted here in this forum but I cannot find
it. Can some point me to it? How do I tell sqlite to use, let's say, 1GB of
RAM before commiting to disk?
