This is standard behavior when there is no GrpLst.bnr file in your
BNR2 home folder as in a new install or if you have deleted the file
when deleting a corrupt database. You must first connect to the server
and download the group list before opening an nzb or subscribing to
and refreshing a group. That's what it was doing when it connected for
a short time, downloading the group list after which you shouldn't
have a problem until the database gets too big.
