It got even worse. If I told BNR3 I wanted to see all posts, read or unread
it would group (unread) parts of a file with other unread files and (read)
parts of a file with other read parts.

Nope, nearly all posts were 100% complete, I barely had to use my PARS.

But that was to point. I was realy searching for the files I wanted to
download. At the top level I would see
DSN S5D3.par2, listed as 5 files
One level down I would see 5 PAR2 files for DSN S5D3, D4, D5, D6 and D7.
It would keep read and unread parts apart, somethings it WOULD group
together, others not. In the end I managed to download everything So.....
I'm a happy dude right now. :-)

I would love for BNR3 to have a way to handle this. Does not need to be
automatic, Could be simply a picklist of what format to expect en sort that
way. That would mean it might mungle one post but get the one I'm interested
in right. If I then want to gent a mungled postr I'll simply select another
format.

Nope, running WinnXP SP2.
