I don't know if these two are related, I would say they are not... but it's 
rather a question for the developers...

I would say that the problem with articles not being displayed in 
hierarchical tree is caused by the sorting algorithm not working very well. 
Do you use the "-test1" commandline switch? It may help with the sorting. 
But I think it won't help you with the downloads...
