You may have "Append", "part of article subject to decoding directory",
checked.

For *everything* to go to one directory:

Go to "Groups" tab (between "Servers" and "Newsgroups");
select "Newsgroups" in the *main window* where your subscribed
newsgroups will list; click on "Properties" above (to the left of "New
Folder").

In the popup window select the "Decoding" tab. In the top line choose
your decoding directory and below that click the "Append" radio button
that says "nothing". Make sure the check box below that, "part of
article subject to decoding directory", is unchecked

Click "OK" and that should do it if the individual groups have "Copy all
settings from parent level" checked. Otherwise do each group
individually.
