Glad to have set you off in the right direction.

Yes that is a neat way of fully automating the process.  The only problem i=
s false positives.

My particular problem has been German posts in the Audiobook groups. I have=
 no problem in non english posts as the newsgroups do not preclude them, bu=
t due to trolls complaining not all of the posters are flagging them as Ger=
man or Deutsch.  I use the following seperate criteria in my "kill filter":=
 Deutsch, Hoerbuch, H=F6rbuch, H=F6rspiel, und, Der, Das, Audioboek and thi=
s catches the majority.  The trouble is that there may be an english langua=
ge posting that contains the sequence "der" as part of another word and eve=
n though I entered " Der " with spaces before and after they appear to have=
 been stripped out.

So I had missed out a step=20=20

...
Click the kill button,
Review the displayed posts for mis-flagged posts
Select all the posts not required and mark as read
...

Now I must go and find season One of Torchwood.
