stupid and use a large very complex string as a password, so i think i am p=

safe, Der and Das are just articles like The maybe you can just do without =

articles or include them only in with a more complex regex

Glad to have set you off in the right direction.

Yes that is a neat way of fully automating the process.  The only problem i=
s=20
false positives.

My particular problem has been German posts in the Audiobook groups. I have=
 no=20
problem in non english posts as the newsgroups do not preclude them, but du=
e to=20
trolls complaining not all of the posters are flagging them as German or=20
Deutsch.  I use the following seperate criteria in my "kill filter": Deutsc=
h,=20
Hoerbuch, H=C3=B6rbuch, H=C3=B6rspiel, und, Der, Das, Audioboek and this ca=
tches the=20
majority.  The trouble is that there may be an english language posting tha=
t=20
contains the sequence "der" as part of another word and even though I enter=
ed "=20
Der " with spaces before and after they appear to have been stripped out.

So I had missed out a step=20

...
Click the kill button,
Review the displayed posts for mis-flagged posts
Select all the posts not required and mark as read
...

Now I must go and find season One of Torchwood.
