Some Plugin issues with Cacti 0.8.8a

Hi,

I am trying to use Cacti to auto discover my network and so I have
installed the "Discovery" plugin....


According to this guide:

One just needs to edit the Settings -> Misc portion with the details
of the SNMP community string etc.... then create a template from the
Console -> Discovery Templates portion..


If I run this: php plugins/discovery/findhosts.php -f -d manually the
system works fine however, using 'polling' I have no luck :-( I have
set a time and told the system to recur every hour but no joy.


Can anyone help with this?


Additionally I am having issues with the "Docs" plugin which isn't
allowing me to upload a PDF file. I have a Cisco user guide which I am
trying to upload to see if Cacti will be a good central store for
technical documentation but so far it's not working :-(


Is there anything I can do to help make it work?
