Well, I do understand better now.
This request, acting on the level of e.g.
- hosts
- templates
- data sources
- graphs
could be addressed by a plugin.
E.g. all create, delete, change activities can be logged.
A specific issue is to handle requests created by scripts (which user should be
associated then?).
So you may decide to create such a plugin on your own or perhaps place an order
for creating this.
There are (few) hints on creating plugins, best resource is to have a look at
existing plugins
