This indeed is a limitation of rrdtool. You can't officially expand existing rrd's to add a new data source (item). But to my knowledge, now some additional utilities exist to overcome this pitfall. There's RRD::Tweak, a perl module; but I don't know whether this handles exactly your request. In the past I've blown up any current data sources that rely on that script. I'm curious if there is a way to avoid this pitfall? Can I just add an additional output without ruining any current data source or is this a limitation with rdd? > > Thanks, > mjr > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: > > Build for Windows Store. > > http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > cacti-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/cacti-user > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev
