Since Gentoo is about compiling, you can guess ;) There is no such
thing as a -dev package in Gentoo, so the header files are always
available.

It looks like centericq can not find the SSL libraries, but it should
not switch on the ssl support by default. I don't know if it's an arch
dependent problem, anyone else with x86_64?
