Hello,

cricket is the most awful peace of software I have ever seen. I would
not use it in 1000.000 years.

But my boss wants it and I have to configure it. Yessss.

And need help, desperately.

First: YES, I have asked google. Ok, but if you call your Software
"cricket" you could call it "George W. Bush" or "Microsoft".

Google for cricket and you get 1000.000 Hits for the horse-fucking
game. So no help from google.

On http://cricket.sourceforge.net/support/ these is not with ONE
word mentioned where I put a fucking ip address for the host
I want monitored. Yes, nice talk about targets and datasource, but
never mentioned where to tell cricket concretely where to put this
one.

Oh, there is a "sample-config". Sample means for me a config from
the programmer that works for HIM. But this sample would never
work in 1000.000 years because there is not one fucking IP Address
found in this whole directory structure.

I have configured apache, exim, postfix, courier, mrtg and 1000 other
programs, but cricket would not get to me.

Could someone please mail me a working config tree where I just
subsitute the IP Address of his Router by Mine????
And it does not matter what kind of Router, I have understood how
to change the type of the target (e.g. a cisco 7200) but just not
how to specify one.

Sorry for the mood, but writing calmly is difficult with a heartbeat
about 230 bpm.
