For a Cisco router, your best bet is to use genRtrConfig to query
your router and generate a config file.  I forget if genRtrConfig
is included in the latest Cricket (look under the util/ directory),
if not, you'll need to download it from:

   http://www.acktomic.com/cricket/cricket-genRtrConfig.htm

Once you've produced a config file for the router, you'll need
to create a subdirectory in your Cricket config tree for your
routers, copy in the correct Defaults file (supplied with genRtrConfig),
then create a new subdirectory for each router with the generated
config file in it.

If you're monitoring hosts, try systemPerfConf.pl in the cricket/util
directory - similar setup instructions (subdirectories, Defaults file,
etc.).

Once you've built a config tree, you'll need to compile it.  The Cricket
docs should be able to walk you through the process.
