LDAP Question

Hi,

I created a new user and also created an organizational unit as show 
in the screenshot attached. I can connect with diradmin when I 
use the following:

cn=root,dc=0xsoftware,dc=com

That connects fine but when I click create new user it say my 
directory is empty also that I dont have an organization unit. 
I have an organization unit called: People when I try connect with:

ou=People,cn=root,dc=0xsoftware,dc=com

I get an error complaining about that. The screenshot even shows 
that I have an ou which is called People any one have 
any suggestions?
