Imagine buying  a piece of property  and finding out that  you don't own
the rights to  the minerals beneath it, or the  water that flows through
it... What makes you think that you have any more right to a name in DNS
than someone else?

What makes you think they wouldn't allow that? Oh and by the way, in the
real world, phone companies are more than willing to list a dozen people
with the same  first and last name. Gee, isn't  that what alternate root
zones are all about?
