Bind migration to tinydns question

I've been running tinydns at many places I've worked instead of bind. I just
migrated my company's bind configuration to tiny dns using the directions at

I used to get stats from bind using "rndc status", now I am parsing the
tinydns log files, and I'm seeing about 1/10th the number of dns request. Is
this a difference in the way bind and tiny dns report or should I be seeing
about the same amount of traffic?
