Errrr... I'd just like to point out, quite off-topic (message subject
changed to reflect this), that this paragraph has a logic discrepancy
that at best may be considered an inadvertent error in stating your
position due to a momentary lapse of reason (neurons *do* misfire,
I know that from personal experience! :), while at worst it might be
viewed as a deliberate attepmt to misguide, misinform, and mislead
the non-careful reader who skims over your message.  I do hope you
didn't mean that in the latter sense.

What I'm referring to is that you said:
- Matthias Andree is now involved in the FreeBSD team (true)
- you consider dropping FreeBSD because of "this reason"; this supposedly
  means that you consider dropping FreeBSD because Matthias Andree now
  has commit access (much too weird if true)
- "for example" you point out two problems you've had with FreeBSD.

Stated this way, it looks like you're saying that these problems are
Matthias Andree's fault.  To put it simply, they aren't :)  Thus, they
have absolutely no bearing on whether he has joined the team or not,
and you might want to make it a bit clearer whether you're considering
dropping FreeBSD because of the real problems or because of Matthias
joining the project :)

As I said, quite off-topic; I'd be happy if this does NOT evolve
into a subthread of 200 messages :)

PS. In the interest of full disclosure (although both of these may
be seen quite clearly in my signature and in the message headers),
I myself am a FreeBSD committer, and I'm writing this from a Debian
Linux system for work-related reasons - and before anyone makes any
connection between those facts, no, I'm passionately NOT dropping
FreeBSD, quite the contrary :)
