Having issues with finding good documentation on how to setup bind and dlz

I am using fedora 8.  I fully uninstalled bind and associated libraries.  I
then used the yum to install bind-dlz and required packages.  I have been
going through the information on bind-dlz.sourceforge.net to try and
configure my dns server to use mysql database.  I have mysql up and running
with a dns user added and the table structure as describes on the website.

 

I am normally not this dense but for some reason I can't get it to work.  I
need this solution because I manage over 500 domains and add as many as 20 a
week to the dns servers.  It is a real pain to have to manually change the
text files and restart the dns servers almost daily.

 

Is there a step by step guide to get this to work?

 

At present time, I have already setup 4 slave mysql servers that are updated
by a master sql server.  I am pushing the domain data through with great
success.  However, I just can't get the bind to use the mysql database on
the individual servers.

 

Suggestions please..
