I dropped and reloaded my tables with data from the dlz sample data scripts, grabbed one of the domains, changed the names and loaded this data into the db. dlz is now working. Great! BUT, I'm a little concerned, shouldn't I expect something different the a fatal error if dlz returns bad data? Oh, and Todd, thanks for the bind-sdb help. Having only compiled from sources and not being familiar with rhel I didn't understand which rpm's were required and I basically was getting no output errors, just silence which I thought was strange. I have another question relating to bind-chroot. I am not using this yet but now that I have established the basic functionality is it generally excepted that bind9 should be chrooted? If I use bind-chroot rpm are most people communicating with mysql via tcp port? Are there any docs on making the mysql socket available to chrooted bind? Sorry to lean so heavily on this list but I have really struggled to find documentation on dlz. //Bradley ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H
