Hello,

Over the last few days, I've been ironing out the last few problems, and
now I think Posadis 0.60.0 is finally ready for release! Most of you
will already know about the various 0.60.0prex builds I have been
releasing lately, and compared to them, the final release has little
changes, so I'll just give you a more or less complete list of new
features compared to 0.50.9:

    * Supports caching/resolving/forwarding
    * Supports plug-ins
    * Supports file monitoring (through "fam" module)
    * Supports automatic reverse and forward mapping (through "revmap"
      module)
    * Supports ancient zone transfers, and accepts MS-DNS style zone
      transfer requests
    * Completely new user documentation
    * New "poshost" query tool
    * ... and probably some other features I'm forgetting at the moment

I know Posadis 0.60.0 to work on Linux and Windows, and I'll be testing
it on other platforms in the next few days, creating patches along the
way if nessecary. I already downloaded a FreeBSD 5.1 ISO so if I can get
my CD burner to work again I'll test that right away :)

Along with 0.60.0, I'm also releasing the final release of Poslib 1.0,
which I now consider to be completely stable, especially given that no
bugs of real signifficance have come up over the last few releases. John
MacDonald helped me fixing a memory leak just before release (well I
guess that's one signifficant bug then), and 1.0 contains a few small
API changes compared to 0.9.7.

Finally, the Master File Editor and the DNS Query Tool have also
inflated their version numbers to 0.60.0 with few changes if any (Mfedit
has a small fix for making it remember the working directory correctly
under Win32 in all circumstances), and, last but not least, I did a
redesign of the Posadis.org homepage today, so when you get your new
Posadis builds soon (and I _know_ you will :), you can sit down and
admire it for a few minutes.

Either way, I'd say grab your build and have fun:

And let me know what you think!
