No current motherboard should ignore the PNPBios standard (but it may). 
  In recent Bioses there are a couple of places to enable them for 
Etherboot.

Look for something that refers to Int 12, Option rom, Enable Network, 
Boot Order (Etherboot will often show up as a choice).

You should als confirm that the nic you are using works on another PC. 
You did load the correct EB file based on the PCI ids correct?
