Hi

I merged the patch to 5.4 and 5.5.  I had to make two small adjustments 
for differences in 5.5.  At your convenience please test the 5.5 version 
to ensure that it works for you.

To anyone else who owns an smc9000 based card.  Please test out the 
change.  I am looking through ebay but so far I cannot find one.  I do 
not believe however that the change will cause anyone else any issues.
