I certainly hope so.  It's something that I would like to work on,  
and hopefully other people will as well.
We already have some EFI code in Etherboot thanks to Eric Biederman,  
I believe.

I went to the website ( http://www.uefi.org/ ), and it looks like the  
specification is downloadable for free.
Then it's time to see how they handle extension ROMs.

This could be an interesting way to get more people interested in  
hacking Etherboot -- Working from the specification to running code  
to Etherboot bootstrap to OS load.

I hope other people find the opportunity as exciting as we do :)
