I have tried the following in the gpxe command interface (shell):
dhcp net0
kernel http://192.168.1.2/index.html
kernel http://my.web.server/index.html
The command with the explicit IP loads the file in the sense that
it prints OK. The one with the web server hostname doesn't load it.
It times out.
The config command proves that the name server was obtained by dhcp
correctly. I have no problems with that name server with other machines
in the lan. my.web.server resolves correctly.
Any suggestions? How to further isolate the problem? I can't run a
debugger.
