Re: !!!checksum problem of network boot image for linux!!!

Hello Jan,

that was the missing jigsaw piece. Now the kernel is able to make the  
DHCP request and he really gets his information. Fine!

But he doesn't mount the rootfilesystem. I still get the following  
error message:
"mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
  192.9.200.137:/svr1/rootfilesystem/pilas5
  missing codepage or helper program, or other error

I guess there could be a wrong export option. I have  the following  
entry in the /etc/exports of the server:
/svr1/rootfilesystem     
192.9.200.128/26(rw,sync,no_subtree_check,no_root_squash,no_wdelay,insecure)

That are the options I used for exporting the rootfilesystems years before.
