Better step up to Wireshark 0.99.2 and post to the Wireshark mailinglist
(www.wireshark.org), Ethereal is no longer actively maintained.

For your questions, a Cygwin build is a bit tricky, I haven't experience
there. For distribution of your build you should use the (NSIS) installer
option, which does more than just copy files.

I built Ethereal version 0.99.0 from source code on cygwin. I can run this
Ethereal and can capture trace. But when I tried
to open capture options window, the Ethereal crashed. Does anyone know how
to resolve this issue?

I have another issue. I Copied all executable files and libraries from
building PC to another PC and tried to run Ethereal on
the other PC, but nothing displayed (even not a error message). I really
need some help about this.
