How should we deal with multiple profiles?

I have discovered that we deal relatively poorly with having multiple
local accounts in Yahoo that are alternate profiles for each other. I am
trying to find the best way to deal with this. I'm fairly certain that yahoo
isn't the only service that has something like this feature, and I am
wondering if any of the other plugins have a way of dealing with it...
