Alpha-12 release targets

All right, here's my checklist for alpha-12. Please do comment / claim 
items / add new ones / tell me that it's already been done and I'm a 
bozo for not realising it / etc. I'd also appreciate it if Karine could 
give us an indication of where she'd like to be for alpha-12, and how 
far off she is.

Required:
(*)	Integration of my sputtering-to-life-again libmsn w/many fixes and 
	OpenSSL support
(*)	Ironing the crinkles out of Rodney's new build system (static-only
	builds, support for more versions of autotools)
(*)	Jabber resolution - either get it "ready for prime time" or disable
	the build again for now

Would like:
(*)	Fix TOC hang - somehow? Anyone?
(*)	Fix segfault in chat logging code
(*)	People willing to do binary packages

Probably going to happen after this realease:
(*)	Core-side smiley support
(*)	Core-side chat log searching
