EB-Win and multiple windows

Greetings:

I am not sure if this has been brought up, so I'll mention it:

With EB-WIN running two chat windows, it seems that if I am having a 
conversation with one window, then someone sends me a message in a second 
window, EB enters the text that I was typing for the first window into the 
second window. This can be somewhat disconcerting.

Is this normal behavior?
