The core compiles just about anywhere (with cygwin on windows, but otherwise
fine). Chris has also managed to get ebqt to compile on Windows (go Chris!).
Do you suppose you could get a binary package out, Chris?

OS X support for the core is dead simple. However, the only UI currently
written is Qt-only. If someone could write an OS X user interface, that would
be absolutely *superb*. No need to rely on the ebqt designs if you don't want
to - craft the UI in your own image - the GUI_SPEC doc should be all you
need...

And the "lite" bit of the name is getting a bit obsolete. It's mainly just
that the core doesn't have to handle UI stuff, and the fact that there are NO
non-ANSI/POSIX dependencies (or should be) for the core itself.

If you, or anyone, is interested in contributing, please contact me and I'll
set you up. I'm afraid I get a bit paranoid about my codebase, and I'd kinda
like to check everything that goes in, at least at first. Do people mind that
awfully?
