Thanks for the new version, Meredydd. One thing I would like to be able to do is build the yahoo plugin using the current libyahoo2, but it's nontrivial to actually do. If I use the current headers, I get many compilation problems in yahoo.c. I'm trying to find a patch for yahoo.c that allows it to work with the newer libraries, but wouldn't mind a few pointers. It would probably help if I knew what version of libyahoo2 that Everybuddy was based on... Actually, I just got it to compile with the latest libyahoo2 code, and it compiles, as long as I keep the everybuddy verion of yahoo_util.h and yahoo_util.c. I'll turn this into a patch which separates the libyahoo2 code, and allows it to be replaced. The problem is that I will need to find a fix for the duplicated yahoo_util code, or I will have linking problems when statically linking the yahoo plugin. Incidentally, libyahoo2 cvs is starting to support web cams and yahoo chat rooms, and I am wondering if there is any abstraction we could use for adding support for these features to eb-lite. I suspect this is the type of issue that should be brought up on IRC. -- Craig West Ph: (416) 567-1491 | It's not a bug, [email protected] | It's a feature...
