I'll start webcam support in ayttm sometime after 0.2.3 is released though. To support things like this (and also voice/video in msn), you can do what colin has done to ayttm. Basically, each service can attach a submenu to the contact/account popup menu, with callbacks to the functions they want called. So, currently, right clicking on a contact in ayttm has an entry that says Invite to Gnomemeeting. Something similar will be added for yahoo, and all other modules that need it.
