Yep, that's fair enough.  I don't administer the lists, I thought though
it would be something of note to both lists.

I tried ABS under Linux but couldn't get it to work.  Anyways, the fix I
did seems to make it all work, personally, I see nothing wrong with just
replacing a couple of files before building.  (I should make a patch)
As for eb-cmd, this was the version I found in the Alpha 8 tarball.  It
sufficed for proving that it all worked.

Syllable uses its own unique UI, but KHTML was ported for the web
browser, ABrowse, which uses this rendering engine.  I'm not sure how
close the Syllable GUI API is to Qt's API, but I suspect they're fairly
close.

I can probably use some code from ebqt, so if I did have to start from
scratch, I'd at least have the server I/O routines in ebqt to work from.
And I've got the basic algorithm I hammered out in my VB app.

I'm using VisualBASIC 5.0 Professional for the Win32 UI.  I've got .NET,
but it's completely different and I'm yet to get used to its quirks.
Also, it'll require Win98 or later, if I use VB5.0, it'll only need Win95.

LOL Well, you have to start somewhere... My first website was butt ugly
too. ;-)  But I'm sure the webdesign team will come up with something
decent.
