Hi As Toby explained I was missing the X-devel packages to be able to succesully compile/install ebqt. (they're called xdevel on SuSE btw) So I installed them and have eb-lite and ebqt up and running, but here are some remarks about ebqt: I can't add a new account: pressing the 'add' button or choosing 'add' from the menu doesn't do anything: I don't see any message in the xterm I started ebqt in. No message pops up, nothing. Any ideas what libs I might still be missing? I did have to install the qt-libs before being able to configure ebqt. I installed and then updated all non-conflicting qt-packages I could find. I'm running WindowMaker-0.80.1-59 at the moment... The about-box fills my screen (1024x780) from left to right: this seems a bit out of proportion to me... Also, the html-tags in it are displayed as text, I suppose they're supposed to format the text? The EBQT-preferences window on the other hand opens so small I can hardly read the label of the first tab without increasing the window size. Could you add at least -h/--help and -v/--version as cl-options? right now all options appear to be ignored and ebqt is launched. (This is a minor issue off course, just noticing) TIA -- # Mertens Bram "M8ram" <[email protected]> Linux User #249103 # # SuSE 8.1 Pro kernel 2.4.20-4GB i686 128MB RAM # # 11:45pm up 2 days, 9:17, 6 users, load average: 0.34, 0.24, 0.31 #
