Everybuddy uses GTK, and therefore, it is not able to make use of the system tray in KDE. EB-Lite is in two parts, a core, which is console, and the UI, which can be written to use any interface. There's currently one official UI, ebqt, and at the moment, I don't think it is able to make use of the system tray (yet). That brings up a question...Is it possible to make it use the system tray, and perhaps pop up a message the way that the official MSN client does. It's a real nifty idea. I hate in Trillian having to bring up the trillian dialogue when to find out who has just logged in, this feature is something I like in MSN.
