Hey all,
Despite the relative torpor on the list, a lot has been happening to
eb-lite (very little of it from me, actually!). So, it has been
suggested that we release alpha-11 in the reasonably near future.
Things have been growing quite a lot, actually, so I've been considering
tweaking the way we do things. Anyway, what about some *gasp*
pre-release testing by the users as well as the developers this time?
So: is there anyone out there who could help us out, please? There are
two things you can do - the first is to download the latest bleeding
from subversion (or a nightly tarball), and check whether it works for
your setup. The other is to make a mock-release tarball
("dist/make_dist.sh source_tarball" will do it), then test it on your
system. If you could also work up any kind of binary distribution
(RPMs, DEBs, etc), that would be absolutely brilliant.
Thanks a lot,
Meredydd
