I'm afraid I don't know where to get Linux system headers for MS
Windows, the only way I know is to have Cygwin but obviously that is not
what you are trying to do. Maybe you should ask your programming
instructor about Linux system headers? Or he can tell you how to replace
them with MS Windows system headers, but you'll probably have to change
the code to match the new headers functions.
