Hi,

I meant to respond to this earlier with several minor nitpicks and challenges.

I run the core on a remote machine and always want to connect to that machine.  
Could ebqt remember the last host I used or let me set a default somewhere?

I have all of my conversations and group chats in tabs.  Sometimes, ebqt tries 
to bring a new tab to the front but fails to do it properly, resulting in all 
of the appropriate controls sized incorrectly and overlayed on the previously 
selected tab's contents, with the previously selected tab still displayed as 
selected.

I'm hoping to make a plugin for a chat service (RPI's Lily, 
http://lilycore.sourceforge.net/) where I generally occupy 40+ group chats at 
once.  I dare anyone to make a convenient GUI interface for that. :)

If I go to add a contact, and hit escape instead of close (closed it through 
my window manager?), the window closes and can't be brought back.

Finally, I generally want to join a bunch of IRC channels whenever I (re)start 
the core.  Going to actions -> join a group chat -> IRC -> channel is a 
little tedious.

I guess my preferred solution to the last two is another contact list-like 
device for group chats, though I can't recommend pushing all that work to the 
core.
