I think what you really want, is an IRC-like UI for group chat and IRC. The typical IM UI is very different from the IRC UI in many respsects, and they both target very specific tasks, some of which, are common, but many of which, are quite different in behavior. As an aside, my goal with Senility is to avoid having any group-chat UI in it. There's really no reason to, when I can just have two completely different UIs that use the same services, with eb-lite. -- dobey
