Alpha-12 coming up, testers wanted

Hey there,
	Although the users list has been relatively quiet, the developers have 
been buzzing away, and we're just about ready to release EB-lite 
alpha-12.

	There is one more thing, though, that could use some testing - thanks 
to Rodney Dawes, we now have an improved build system, which should 
make things nicer for us in future. However, all my release-packaging 
scripts were written with the old version in mind, so I really need 
feedback on whether what I've put together works for people.

	I'd really appreciate it if you could grab the release candidate from 
http://www.everybuddy.com/eb-lite/files/eb-lite-alpha-12.tar.gz (follow 
that link directly, it's not yet announced on the website), extract it, 
build it, and tell me whether it works. Please do a "make install" too, 
and check you have all the features (look in Preferences for autotrans 
and rainbow) and all the services (try the Add button and drop the list 
- there should be AIM, Jabber, ICQ, MSN, IRC, and Yahoo there).
