That's good to know. Note that gcc 4 based builds will require 10.3.9  
to run, so I think it makes sense to continue using gcc 3.3 for our  
PowerPC build. We can then use lipo to merge the PowerPC and Intel  
builds together.

As a first step if we could get bootstrapped with an Intel build that  
would be great just to see if there's any endian issues we need to  
deal with in any of our service specific code. Once that is done, we  
can work on creating a build process or script that creates the  
universal binary in a way that allows us to continue to support  
10.2.x and 10.3.x on PowerPC.
