Getting 1.0 out the door.

Team,

The localization crew now has a localization build that they are 
working on!!  Thanks everyone for your work in getting the UI frozen!

Here is the schedule we are attempting to follow in this 1.0 release:

Nov 21 - Alpha build 1 (We need to get known showstoppers fixed by then 
- see below)
-- other alpha builds as needed --
Dec 3 - Localization Complete
Dec 5 - Beta build 1 (includes all localizations - and fixes for 1.0 
candidate bugs)
-- other beta builds as needed --
Dec 19 - 1.0 FCS

The alpha and beta builds will be made available to the people on the 
Fire mailing lists and forums.  The hope is that everyone using those 
builds will enter bug reports in our bug tracker.

For our Alpha build this Friday, I need people's help in making sure 
that the known big issues are solved.  The ones that come to mind are:

- Preference Panels hooked up
- Drag and Drop in Buddy List

Let me know if anyone sees problems with this plan.
