The accounts are stored in ~/Library/Application 
Support/Fire/Accounts.plist. Make sure you copied this file. Also, make 
sure that you have permission to read and write the 
~/Library/Application Support/Fire and the files in it. Most of the 
time when people have problems with the accounts it tends to be because 
the permissions are wrong.

The only files I can think of are the prefs file which you mentioned 
and then the Accounts.plist, FireConfiguration.plist, Sessions, and 
BuddyIcons which are all inside of ~/Library/Application Support/Fire.

Note that your passwords are stored in the Mac OS X keychain, so those 
would need to be reentered or you would need to copy the keychain over 
from ~/Library/Keychains/ to the new machine.
