Two answer the first, this is a limitation in Fire. In current versions, you can only log into one account per service at a time. However, the good news is that I have successfully managed to modify the back end of Fire to allow multiple logins on all services, but this will not be available for quite some time. In Prefs -> Chat Windows -> Save Window Positions and Sizes. These window positions are remembered on a per-buddy basis. The upcoming version 1.1 of Fire also includes three separate tabbed window implementations if you prefer that.
